Parts: There are five parts, and listed below are a brief description of each and how their voice should sound.
1) A female actress whose voice should sound like she's in her late thirties or in her forties.  Character wields great power among her peers (even though she doesn't think she has any); she's also strong, confident, and ruthless and at times can be condescending.
2) A female actress that sounds like she’s in her late twenties or early thirties.  This character thinks she has all the answers and wants everyone to embrace her vision for the future.  She tries convincing anyone that will listen to her way of thinking.
3)  A male that sounds like someone in their forties, fifties, or even sixties and has gone through a lot in the last year.  He's been accused of things and has to defend his reputation.  He's humbled and ready to do what's right to get the job done.
4)  A male that sounds like he’s in his late twenties to late thirties.  A family man who is working hard to make sure his family is taken care of.
5) A female actress whose voice should sound like she's in her late thirties or in her forties.  The character is outspoken, seeks power, weighs her options to her advantage, and will undercut you in a heartbeat.

If your voice matches any of these five characters, and you are skilled at reading a script, please submit an audio submission reading one of these two scripts below.
1)Submission script for Women
Notes - The character of Amelia is the part you will be reading.  Her demeanor has emotions, but don't get too carried away, and don't raise your voice.  Amelia's in charge and has an air in her tone.  The ... in the script is for Amelia to pause for two seconds while she gets a response from Nicholas. Please read the script at a normal pace, and don’t overact.  You should make anyone listening believe that they’re listening in on a conversation with a real live person. This is just a basic short script to test your voice, acting skills, and how well you follow the notes. We hope you enjoy reading the script, and we look forward to hearing how well you perform as the character.

The scene - Amelia's Phone rings. She's getting a call from Nicholas her assistant that's organizing a party on her behalf.

Amelia:
Hello, this is Amelia...What can I do for you Nicholas?... No, I told you that I don't want Councilman Rodgers at this party...I don't care what the mayor wants; I'm the one throwing this event, and Nicholas, stop calling my party a soiree(swäˈrā)...  The only people who do that are the ones who are pretentious, and I for one am not that.… Yes, I want him sitting at the head of the table with me, but make sure to sit Vivian at the other end; her table manners are very lacking... No... no... You tell the chef we are not serving buffet style.  All guests will be placing their orders ahead of time and will be served the second they sit down... I don't care how many Michelin stars the chef restaurant has.  He is so arrogant and uncouth... You tell him to do what I said or his restaurant will be closed down for health code violations.  One last thing, Nicholas, if this party does not go off without a single problem, you may want to move to France, where they do use the word soiree.  Why you ask? Because I will take all my anger out on the person I feel is responsible if this party fails, and more than likely that will be you. As they say in France, bon voyage, Nicholas.

2) Submission script for men
Notes - Will has a loving tone in his voice towards his wife, he then has laughter in his voice as he tells her a story about Amelia, and finally he shows remorse for an accident that has affected his family. The ... in the script is a pause for only two seconds to hear what his wife is saying.   Read at a normal pace, don’t raise your voice, and don't be overly dramatic.  You should make anyone listening believe that they’re listening in on a conversation with a real live person. This is just a basic short script to test your voice, acting skills, and how well you follow the notes. We hope you enjoy reading the script, and we look forward to hearing how well you perform as the character.

The scene - Will is working on a security detail for Amelia. He's calling his wife to let her know he's going to be late getting home because of work.  He loves his wife, and would never do anything to hurt her.

Will:

Hey, honey... No, I won't be home anytime soon; I have to work tonight... You know, with me being the head of Amelia's security detail, I have to be there at all times of the day.... As bad as it can be, my day hasn’t been a total loss though.  You wouldn't believe what happened this morning when we left the Hightower building.  The security detail was escorting Amelia through the downtown side streets when a car passed us, and it backfired.  Amelia jumped straight up and was standing on top of a paper box.  She was so frightened it took us a minute to get her down.  She didn't like us seeing her shaken like that... That's true, I don't like working for her.  If it were up to me, I would go back and head up my old division, but you know, with my injury, I can't go back to regular patrol.  If I wasn't doing this, then I would be relegated to office work, and I'm not ready for that... Of course I want to be there for my family.  It's just. I would die if I couldn't get out from behind a desk and do what I love to do.
